About Judy
Coming to Canada as a young child with deep roots in the vibrant culture of Jamaica, where my love for cooking was first shaped by my mother and father. They taught me not just recipes, but the importance of preserving and passing down traditional island cooking filled with flavour, warmth, and history. Later in life, I made the decision to pursue a new career path one that reflects my passion and purpose. Moving to Mount Forest sparked something in me: a desire to bring a taste of the island to my new community and share the comfort and vibrancy of Caribbean food with the locals here. Through my food truck, my vision is simple spread love through food. Every dish is a reflection of my heritage and my journey, and my goal is to bring a little bit of the island to the forest, one plate at a time.
